I suggested, you approved, I delivered. A digital walkthrough of how I approximated his style in my last work - and how you, with enough patience and a big enough stash of food, can do it too.

Final note that didn’t make it into the guide: I work in Photoshop 7. I only use one or two tools, so if your version is any more advanced than mine, I’m sure you’ll still be able to follow it. In fact, yours will probably turn out better!

So I actually drew these quite a while ago and wanted to turn them into a series, but finals are sapping my ass and I’d like to keep the art post wheel turning. I may still, but there’s a long, long queue to be cleared out first. I’m just a sucker for Mei’s paramilitary fashion designs, when it comes down to it. I’m also seeing if I can take those designs and incorporate some social-norm variation: Age, class, money, profession. This is why you shouldn’t let me root around in your concept art.

Also thank you Gwyneth Paltrow for wearing a totally steal-worthy dress to the Oscars. I loved that cape thing. The fashion judges can fight me. Also tsundere Kaidan because of reasons.
