Several people have asked for my brush settings, so here you go! The Mr. Handy that everything on my art tag was lined with. I use Pen Pressure for everything else, too - Eraser, Blur, Dodge/Burn. I only lived without knowing that secret for a short time, but it was bleak, let me tell you.
Two caveats, though. First is that I only use Size 1 when I’m working at 72 DPI. For 300, I’ll go up to Size 2, 3, or even 4. I cannot recommend it less to work at 300 DPI with a Size 1 brush. The last time I tried it the picture took me two weeks.
Second is that I suspect people ask for these settings because they wonder how my lineart is so clean. That’s not the brush. That’s unhealthy perfectionism. It’s going back and compulsively erasing around a line to smooth it out. It’s zooming in to 400% and going at facial features like they’re pixel art. Lineart on commissions and larger pieces take me the half-life of radiocarbon to finish, but I’ll be damned if I don’t prefer the results.
Oh, and that’s Photoshop 7.

People ask me all the time for tutorials and tell me I should livestream, but since I am in no way witty or comfortable with people watching me draw, have a WIP gif of how I line/color instead. Also starring Mariel in her Potatoshop debut!
